More Scriptures :: 22nd Annual Arthritis Foundation

Brimstone served as a celebrity guest at the 22^nd Annual Arthritis Foundation event on April 4^th, 2008.  The gala event was held at the Huntington Hilton, Long Island New York.  Brimstone and other celebrities like Mick Foley, Missy Hyatt, Joe Sernio (As The World Turns, Love Monkey), Joe Rock (WBAB), Bud Harrelson (New York Mets, LI Ducks), Jil & Drew of the WBLI Morning Crew, Tom Westman (Survivor: Palau), The New York Fire Dancers, Mike Sillinger (New York Islanders), John Hamm, John Walker, and Angel Estrada (New York Dragons), Jimmy & Dawn Carfora (HBO’s Family Bonds), and David Weiss(NY 10/55, 1010 Wins) came together to raise a grand total of $44,721.00 for arthritis research which was a 9% growth over 2007!

During the charity luncheon, Brimstone was called up on stage alongside WWE Legend Mick Foley to address the crowd.  Brimstone and Foley explained the need for fundraisers such as these because they allow the Arthritis Foundation to continue its mission of providing help and hope to over 400,000 Long Islanders – men and women of all ages, children and babies.  The foundation is dedicated to providing educational and support services to arthritis sufferers and their families, as well as funding research to find a cure.  As professional wrestlers, Brimstone explained to the crowd how this foundation will eventually be a tremendous service to himself and Mick Foley due to the constant wear and tear on their bodies.
